What we’re about

I know, our name may sound stuffy, but I promise we are anything but...

Our motto is "Come for friends, find sisters" for a reason... That is what happens here...

I'm a firm believer that we each have different stages of life...And I've learned that sometimes it is really difficult to make friends as an adult, especially depending on your circumstances...

Like relocating to a new place, going through a divorce, empty nesting or just need an uplevel of friends or searching for a female only support system, we've got you.

My name is Celeste Hartwell, and this group is my entire heart...

Our purpose is to help women connect to new friends, form lasting friendships and have fun in the process.

Making friends as an adult can be difficult...I know.

In addition to moving to three different school districts as a child and having to continually start over, I've also had 5 major relocations as an adult.

Each one leaving me with little to zero support system and learning each time how to rebuild better than the last.

So if you're looking for a safe environment to find deep and meaningful connections, this is the group for you.

No matter your age, stage in life, we want to meet you and learn more about you.

Our in person events include an array of activities from potlucks to book club, workshops to craft nights while our virtual events include book clubs, craft fun and workshops.

Some things will include an investment of time and energy and others will have slight costs associated with them.

You are welcome to come to what feels best to you and leave the rest.

We do shit ladies like to do.

Come for friends, find sisters. We're happy you're here and we look forward to meeting you at an event soon!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: I don't feel comfortable entering my payment information into Meetup - is there another way to pay my dues?

A: YES! I completely understand wanting to stay a part of the group but not feeling comfortable with unknown websites. If you want to pay your dues via Venmo, you can find me at @CelesteHartwell and the last four digits of my phone number is 2291.
The dues are $5 per month for access to all free events.
When doing this, decide how many months you want to pay, then send me a message through Meetup with the amount you paid so I can update your Meetup Account appropriately - I track it in Meetup and then they will tell you when your dues are due and you can decide if you want to be a part of the group going forward and how you want to pay again.
Easy Peasy!

Q: I rarely attend this group but I want to still be a part of it - do I have to pay the monthly membership even for as infrequently as I attend?

A: I can completely appreciate this question, however, this is the lowest membership available. Especially with now running virtual and in person events, there are so many opportunities to join us and for less than a cup of coffee each month, it is such a value to the people who are really looking for community.

Part of the goal of dues is to encourage more engaged members, which creates a more consistent and safe community for all. I completely understand and honor if that is not where you are right now and we will be here when you decide you want to be a more committed member of our group.

Q: I haven't had a chance to attend anything and I'm not sure if this is the right group for me - how can I determine that?

A: We give a 14 day free trial for dues and if you don't see something on the calendar during that period of time that feels fun and interesting to you, continue to check back without joining. No pressure at all. At the end of the day, I trust you, your knowledge about the right spaces for you and your own internal guidance. Trust yourself.

Q: I haven't been to an event before, I want to, but I'm nervous because I don't know you or anyone else - can you help?

A: First off, I get it. Doing anything new is super scary and I applaud you for even considering our group! I am always open to meeting one on one whether via zoom, in person or phone call to help you feel out if this is the right place for you. I've had people come a little early to quell nervousness.
Feeling those feelings is normal. Above all, I want everyone to feel safe in this space so you can determine if it is the right place for you. I am always available via messaging on Meetup or you can easily book a private call with me via my scheduling link so we can see each other on zoom.
