Meet Jiye
Hey! I’m Jiye, an anthropologist working in tech. I do design research and service design in the context of logistics where operational efficiency matters.
Ever since ChatGPT has become my assistant, editor, search engine, and wikipedia, I became wondering what it means to do design research in this era. In this talk, I’d like to share my personal journey of figuring out the value of ‘human intelligence’ and reflect on it from anthropological perspective. I’m also curious about your thoughts so join me for this talk and let’s discuss the meaning of our work, in person, face to face.

I'm Karin, a UX researcher with a background in psychology and founder of UXinsight. I'm passionate about helping our UXR community grow by learning from and supporting each other.
As the UX research field continues to evolve, we're seeing shifts driven by economic pressure, democratisation, growing recognition of research, and the influence of AI. In this interactive session, I’ll share insights from the UXR Maturity Benchmark 2024 and the UXinsight Festival 2024 and 2025. Together, we’ll explore what 'research quality' means in different contexts and discuss how we, as UX community, can raise the bar.
