Designing the future: finding your compass in a hyper-connected world
Details
Nomensa's Head of Design, Sam Munton, will be sharing her talk ahead of Interact 2017 (UX conference in London).
'Designing the future: finding your compass in a hyper-connected world'
2017 has seen change at a rate that’s both exciting and terrifying in equal measures. So how do we embrace uncertainty, and how do we design for a future where disruption and a hyper-digitised world collide?
A bit about Sam:
Sam is Head of Design at Strategic UX Design agency Nomensa, and spends most of her working day getting over-excited about problem solving with incredibly talented folks (clients, colleagues and customers alike). During her spare time Sam enjoys a bit of crochet, DIY and zen cleaning (it’s a thing), whilst pondering what the future will look like (usually zombie apocalypse).
What you can expect and what the main takeaways are:
A fast-paced tour of digital change and Sam’s ponderings on what the near and far future might look like as a result, including connected cities, smart fabrics & furniture and smart health. Be prepared to leave with a few pertinent questions in your head that may well inspire future conversations (arguments?!).
