Discovery research in complex environments: Learnings from expanding into the AI market
When you’ve got initial traction in a new market that is secretive and rapidly changing, how do you find out whether & how you can expand into that market?
I spent most of 2023, conducting research with a range of AI companies, communicating findings internally to define our ideal customer profile and shape our product strategy for this new market. In this talk, I will share key lessons & practical tips from:

About Lisa Laeber
Lisa is a Senior Strategy Researcher & Decision Scientist at Prolific, where she conducts strategy research, identifies needs for data solutions and consults product teams on designing & conducting research. Her background is in quantitative research with previous experience as Lead Data Scientist at the Department of Health and Social Care, and previous policy research roles at the Department for Education and the Office for National Statistics. She holds degrees in Psychology and Mental Health Sciences.
