Best Friends Make the Best Co-Leads

To celebrate International Women's Day and as we return for the first event of the year, we welcome Luna and Jessica as co-team leads to share their experience as design leaders.

Luna and Jessica's presentation covers their unique leadership style explaining how they function as Co-Team leads. Whilst highlighting the ever-evolving demands on design leaders, their teams and how they adapt to them.

They also share their perspective on their journey to leadership and all the positives and negatives that came with it. They share how their friendship has evolved and changed throughout these experiences not only making them better designers, collaborators and leaders but also better friends.

Jessica is a UX/UI Design Consultant and Design Team Lead who is passionate about problem-solving and creating assets of value. She creates not only visually appealing designs but also optimises them for the end user and key business goals to add meaningful impact to their experiences. As a Consultant Jess has had the opportunity to work with various clients from banking, government, education and a variety of top-tier corporations. Doing everything from advisory, delivery and everything in between.

Luna Andreux
UX/UI Design Consultant & Team Lead, Cognizant Servian

Luna is a passionate product designer and team lead who loves bringing ideas to life; simplifying complex flows, understanding behaviour, solving puzzles, and creating real, innovative, accessible and intuitive experiences.
What drives her is empathy and honesty. She believes in transparent communication, fairness and kindness above all else. She believes that great teams are led with a close-knit support system and trust.
