Event Speakers:
Ivelisse Capellan-Heyer (She/Her) - Senior UX Designer at Microsoft
Ivelisse /EE-VAY-LEES/ is a designer with a passion for problem solving, exploring user interactions, and building web and mobile applications.
She was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and she moved to the United States in January 2016 with the purpose to keep growing professionally and to have the opportunity to collaborate and build amazing products.
She has an interdisciplinary background with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a masters in cultural management and administration. Currently, she’s a designer in the Cloud Experiences Studio, designing products on the Microsoft Azure space. Previously, she had the opportunity to work in consumer facing experiences at Alaska Airlines and Windows Design team.
With her enthusiasm for UX, she wants to ignite others around her to learn and fall in love with the technologies that they use in their day to day lives. Outside of work, her main passion is to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys writing, reading, trying new places to eat and hiking throughout the Pacific NorthWest.

Diana Alayon (She/Her) - Senior Digital Product Designer at Ascension
Diana Alayon is a mom and a wife. She’s been given the title of Senior User Experience Designer with a background in Industrial Design and Sales. Diana has been part of product development teams in startups as well as corporate, for both enterprise as well as consumer-facing products. She’s currently working in the health industry as part of Ascension improving patient-facing experiences, enabling them to better manage their health. Prior to that, Diana was part of IBM where she helped shape Watson Assistant. When she’s not doing design work you can find her playing Catchball, Volleyball, Pickleball or paddle boarding somewhere in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Amy Jiménez Márquez (She/Her) - VP of Experience Design at Zillow
Amy Jiménez Márquez is a design leader focused on UX design, information architecture, compassionate leadership, and mentorship. She’s currently VP of Experience Design at Zillow. Formerly at Amazon, leading the Alexa Adaptive Personality Experience Design team, she was part of evolving Alexa’s personality, sense of humor, and how the agent adapts and responds to customers’ preferences and context. She also worked with Amazon’s Diversity in Design initiative and ran workshops teaching design thinking and elements of design to underserved communities. Amy was also on the board of directors for the Information Architecture Institute and volunteered for and co-chaired the Information Architecture Conference. In her spare time, Amy teaches courses in Information Architecture and UX design at the Seattle School of Visual Concepts.
