Did you know that some people try to sneak stolen money into online shops and gambling websites, making it look like they earned it honestly? This is called money laundering, and it’s a big problem for everyone who buys or sells things online.

To stop this, companies use special checks to make sure people are who they say they are and that their money comes from a safe place. But these checks can sometimes be confusing or slow things down for real customers.

In my talk, I’ll show how my team at LeoVegas is finding better ways to protect people and stop bad guys—while still making it easy and friendly for everyone to use our site.

About Namrata Agarwal:

I’m excited to share my journey from a decade as a fashion designer to becoming a UX designer, a transition that has taken me across three continents. This unique path has shaped my approach to product challenges, allowing me to blend creativity, precision, and fun in my work.

My experiences have fostered meaningful conversations and strong relationships, which are essential in UX design and collaboration. I've had the privilege of developing initial apps for early startups and leading the design team at Swedish telecom company Tele2. Currently, I serve as a Staff Product Designer at LeoVegas.

In 2023, I was honored to receive the Experimentation Culture Team Award, which underscored my commitment to creativity and innovation. This recognition highlights the importance of playfulness in unlocking our potential and driving progress.

I look forward to sharing insights and stories with you!
