In this engaging session, join Suzanne Ruigrok & Giulia de Goede from NOS, as they take you on a journey of innovation and transformation. They will tell us how they managed to identify existing new opportunities for their web & app product by conducting different types of user research. That for instance involved indepth user interviews, agile prototyping and collaborative efforts with different teams and end users. This talk offers valuable insights for product managers and UX designers seeking to improve existing products and how to navigate the intricate path from data-driven analysis to innovative MVPs, all while staying at the forefront of user-centric design.

Go on a journey throughout Africa, where we have been using new innovations to protect elephants and rhinos. You’ll learn why this is important and how and why we invent pragmatic field-ready solutions to help rangers in national parks. Aside from occasionally being chased by an elephant! I will share some of our successes and challenges to transform your perspective on how you can make an impact in the most unexpected places.

Suzanne Ruigrok is a seasoned product manager with a background in SaaS technology in real estate tech and sales enablement. Currently, she is driving innovation and growth as a product owner at NOS, a leading news broadcasting agency.

Giulia de Goede is a UX designer on the product team at NOS. She works on optimising the current products by maintaining a focus on accessibility and usability, and to enable user research to start new projects or products. She has gained experience as a digital designer in webdesign in international cultural events.

Thijs Suijten is using his technical skills to bring about positive change worldwide with the non profit Hack The Planet. His focus extends to tackling ecological and humanitarian challenges. Through the application of cutting-edge technologies and a pragmatic mindset, he has developed solutions that protect endangered species and their habitats.
