### ABOUT NATIONAL MX

"As entertainment continues to evolve, so does drag. I sat down one day and put together a plan to execute the first national pageant that promotes an entertainer's individuality without having to conform to any gender identity. The National MX Pageant was created for ALL entertainers to have a national platform to showcase their talents. MX will enable them to travel across the country and have no boundaries as entertainers while representing The National MX Pageant. This pageant's goal is to give entertainers of any gender identity a platform in without having to check any specific box. No matter how you Identify, we celebrate you! I have been asked multiple times what the MX pageant is all about and my answer is simple. Growing up and feeling that I as a gay man didn't belong in a group always made me feel like an outsider. I personally never want anyone to feel that way, ever. As I was putting together all parts of this pageant, I had the vision of all types of drag on the same stage in a showcase of the best of the best! As this is our first inaugural year we are allowing the first 20 contestants to sign up and compete in the pageant. We will hold one night of pageantry on July 21, 2023 in San Antonio, TX! Our handbook is now available for download and review. If you're interested in being a part of the MX family as a state or regional promoter, please don't hesitate to reach out to us so that we can create the next generation of all inclusive drag! With some amazing individuals in my corner I am excited to have the opportunity to put together this pageant with all of them. Now is the time to celebrate each individual for who they are! Hey Ladies!!!

For those who joined us last year for our Red River Reign Series, THANK YOU!! Hilda and I are extremely excited to announce their entry to the National MX Pageant, with Red River Co-Performer Lana Dahmer. This July in San Antonio, TX.

We will watch our favorite Red River Artists fight for THE crown of the first ever non-binary LGBTQ+ Pageant. Lana is coming for blood and Hilda is bringing us to Broadway! There will be a total of 20 performers for one night of stunning looks, talents, and pure performance magic.

When I tell you that I'm revitalized, it's because of these performers and their craft! Come be creative with the most beautiful minds of Austin.

I will be asking our ATX members for help in the coming months as we prepare for THE PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR! The winner will be the first ever titleholder for National MX.

We have 6 months to prepare.
WE NEED: Designers, Artists, Donations, and some manual labor
to bring this fantasy to life.

Crafting parties are an absolute vibe for girl time. Come kiki with us, for a cause! Please contact Lauren Vecchio, to offer your skills or talents to help our artists. We will be hosting sewing parties, rhinestoning parties, and dance rehearsals.

I am also going to be seeking outside donations. We will do our best to sponsor as many early RSVPS entry fees as possible. Please DM if you would like to be considered for a free entry. Members who help produce our performance, will be sponsored. Carpooling to San Antonio and over night accommodations are TBD. A Post-Event San Antonio Bar crawl could be in the works. Stay tuned!
