Beginning of the Year Clothing Swap

Hey Folks!

At the beginning of the year, we have all kinds of amazing plans. So, I try to spend some of January helping people get a jump on some of them!

Some of the big ones folks have are to get rid of that pile of clothes that no longer serve you. Or to define a new personal style. Or to be more eco-conscious. To stop the cycle of fast fashion, or not spend as much money. All of these can be achieved with a clothing swap!

Come over to mine with all the clothes, jewelry, and accessories in good repair sitting around that you don't love anymore and leave with another pile of the same that may serve you better. Leftover items will either become seed items for the next swap or be donated.

We usually pile all the plunder in my living room and try it on, asking for feedback and whatnot. As a result, this event is for women only, and both of my partners will be out of the house. Clothing swaps work best when there are lots of people of differing shapes, sizes, and aesthetics, so if you have a girlfriend or two who may be down, feel free to bring them as well.

I'll probably provide a cheese board or some other light nosh, but this isn't a food-heavy event. There is ample parking at my house, but if you need any accommodations for ingress or parking, please let me know.

If you can't make it to the swap, but still want to drop off clothes, you're welcome to bring stuff by my house. Just reach out to set up a time that will work for both of us.
