Summer Latin Dancing Cruise!

We are going dancing!

Toronto's 25-45 Social is teaming up with 2 other amazing organizers to bring you a night of dancing, wonderful skyline views along with a Latin Dance performance for your enjoyment! Plus a dance class for those who are itching to learn! All of it as we navigate under the stars and on the cooler waters of lake of Ontario!

WHAT TO EXPECT

You can expect a fun, mature crowd with lots of great conversation, in Spanish or otherwise. There is no language restriction tonight, however if you want speak mostly in Spanish to enhance the experience, than you are certainly more than welcome to so! I :-)

We will be boarding the Enterprise 2000, The harbour's only cruise ship with an indoor atrium. You will be able to stand on the upper deck and can look directly through onto the dance floor on the lower deck, plus a retractable roof!

Treat yourself and your friends to a fun boat cruise, socialize and dance to Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, Cha Cha, and Kizomba. A mix of club music will be played from time to time for the Latin dance uninitiated.

Vanessa Stay’s Latin Energy school (http://latinenergydance.com/) is going to be entertaining us with a dance performance. Latin Energy is internationally recognized for their unique performance style and love for salsa and the Latin culture. Latin Energy dancers offer their audiences the best in entertainment and proudly represent Canada’s dancing talent wherever they perform. Latin Energy is proud to be the Dec. 2015 & 2014 World Latin Dance Cup Champions in several divisions!

Salsa Instructor - Maria Paul

Maria Paul teaches at Fregata Dance Club and is a professional Latin and Ballroom dance instructor at Love at First Dance (http://loveatfirstdance.com/). She comes with great reviews and years of experience in teaching Latin and Ballroom. Maria’s passion for dance and teaching dance have taught her the right skills and technique to insure that her students look and dance to the best of their individual abilities while keeping her lessons fun and enjoyable. Maria takes great pride in transforming her students into the best social dancers that they can be.

Kizomba Dancer - Felipe Palleros

Felipe instructs Kizomba at Toronto Dance Salsa (http://www.torontodancesalsa.ca/) school and continues his mission to spread Kizomba love all over. He has been teaching and choreographing for the Toronto Kizomba Squad who performed Kizomba at the Canada Salsa Congress, The International Bachata and Kizomba Congress, the Toronto Kizomba Festival and many more local and international events. Felipe was also champion of the Bachata amateur division at the 2013 Toronto Bachata Festival.

Evening Schedule

• 7:00 PM - Begin Boarding (sharp)

• 8:00 PM - Cruise Begins (sharp)

• Midnight - Return to Dock

• 12:30 AM - Disembark Ship

Note: As with any great event, we aim to start on time. As such, if you are late, you might miss your boat. Please, be mindful of that and plan your commute accordingly.

Recommended Dress

Dress to impress. This is is going to be an upscale, yet casual event. No attitude but let's make it a great night! Men, polish up your dancing shoes, Ladies, get those heels on. And let’s dance!

Ticket Prices

July 20th, 2016 - August 11, 2016: $45.00

August 12th, 2016 - (At the Boat) $55.00

When you RSVP, you will be asked to pay using PayPal or you can pay me directly, cash or credit card, is fine. If you pay through Paypal, Meetup will give you the option to print your ticket and ticket ID for the event. Please bring your ticket to the event.

If you pay me directly, you will receive an email from me with your purchase information. Please bring that with you to the event. Please be mindful that if you do not bring your ticket/proof of purchase admittance to the cruise will not be possible.

• Parking on the street is free. If drive down, please be aware, if you park inside the marina, they will charge you $20. If you do not want to pay for parking -- I would not -- then please come early so you can find parking and get to the cruise at a leisured pace.
