Rancho Los Alamitos Ranch and Garden tour

Discover the Magic of Rancho Los Alamitos Historic Ranch and Gardens.
We will experience the rich history and vibrant stories of Rancho Los Alamitos with a guided tour.

The historic ranch house and gardens in Long Beach is open to the public at no charge and for all people to enjoy. The Rancho is a seven-and-a-half-acre historic site within the City of Long Beach which includes four acres of nationally significant historic gardens, a ranch house (1790-1933), and a restored barnyard of the early 20th-century working ranch.

During your visit, learn from a knowledgeable docent and tour the site's ranch house, wander the garden trails and barnyard, meet the barnyard's resident livestock (horses, sheep, goats, chickens, and ducks), and explore & learn California history.

COST: admission is free.
TIME: 10 am - 12 pm
PARKING: free on-site parking.

DIRECTIONS:
• Enter at the Bixby Hill residential security gate at the intersection of East Anaheim Road and Palo Verde Avenue
• Drive up hill and find Rancho Los Alamitos at the top! Park in our visitor lot
• When you arrive, please check-in at the desk at the Rancho Center. This will be our meeting point.

PLEASE BE ON TIME. OUR TOUR WILL START AT 10 AM.
Afterwards we'll have time to stroll the grounds.
We will post lunch plans as we get closer to the date.

NO SHOW POLICY​​:
Members who RSVP "Yes" for an event need to change their RSVP to "No" ​if their plans change and they cannot attend the event​ at least 48 hours in advance. If you need to cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, please contact the host with an explanation. Please RSVP with the intention of attending. Thank you for your understanding.
***Member who has 3 no shows, cancel on the same day, or "no show" without an explanation will be removed from the group.
