Come join us to see Steel Magnolias at the Newport Theatre Arts Center.

Tickets are $25. We are sitting in Row E - Right, and Row F - Right, Seat 6. Seats 1 - 5 are available in Row F Right or feel free to buy a seat
wherever you wish. It is a small theatre. I would suggest buying tickets as soon as possible as half the tickets are already sold.

Steel Magnolias is a heartfelt Southern drama by Robert Harling set in a small-town Louisiana beauty salon, where a close-knit group of women gather regularly to share laughter, love, and life’s ups and downs. Centered around the strong-willed Shelby, a young woman with diabetes, and her protective mother, M’Lynn, the play explores themes of friendship, resilience, and the strength found in community. As the women face both joyful and heartbreaking moments, their bonds prove unshakable—showing that they are as delicate as magnolias but as tough as steel.

Members who RSVP "Yes" for an event need to change their RSVP to "No" if their plans change and they cannot attend the event at least 48 hours in advance. If you need to cancel within less than 24 hours, please contact the host with an explanation.
