Live Performance: "Sweet Charity" at San Jose Stage (Evening Show)

Hello Besties!

In June, we're offering two options for seeing Sweet Charity at the San Jose Stage, and we hope you'll join us for one of the shows! Please bring a friend or two (or three) and support this incredible local theatre company.

Inspired by Federico Fellini's Nights of Cabiria, Sweet Charity explores the turbulent love life of Charity Hope Valentine, a hopeless romantic but comically unfortunate dance hall hostess in New York City. With a tuneful, groovy, mid-1960s score by Cy Coleman, lyrics by Dorothy Fields, and a hilarious book by Neil Simon, Sweet Charity captures all the energy, humor, and heartbreak of Life in the Big City for an unfortunate but irrepressible optimist.

This show comes to The Stage Theater in downtown San Jose for four weeks only. Our group has been graciously offered significantly reduced tickets of $25 each. Come join us for another intimate and engaging performance to support our local small theater!

Once you've committed to attending THIS show show, we will not be able to switch your ticket to the evening show. Also, as a courtesy to your hosts, please make payment promptly and don't make us track you down for it. It already takes a lot of time to coordinate these events for you, ok? \

EVENT DETAILS:

• Who: All of us ladies. Please bring a friend- male or female!
• When: Wednesday, June 11th. We'll meet at the theatre for a cocktail /glass of wine at 6:30, then grab our seats at 6:45. Show starts promptly at 7pm!
• What: Cocktails and "Sweet Charity" at San Jose Stage Theater.
• Where: 490 South 1st Street, San Jose, CA 95113
• Parking: There are several paid lots nearby. Please allow enough time to find parking. Most metered street parking on Saturday expires after two hours.
• Payment: Tickets are $25 and are nonrefundable. Please make payment as soon as you RSVP:
