Topic 2: "Clean Architecture in Django"

One of the age-old question in MVC frameworks is: where do I put my business logic? Many of us saw boost in productivity when we moved business logic from views to models. But that still leaves us with some thorny problems. What about use-cases that depend on multiple models? How can we test business logic without depending on databases? How can we refactor database schemas without rewriting business logic? This talk will explore a layered approach to writing apps that separates business logic from knowledge of views, models, request objects, or any framework-specific code. Note: My approach to the “clean architecture” is still very much a work in progress, and I hope to hear from other Django users about their solutions.
