E﻿thos Society is located in Equitable Plaza. The parking garage is located on Mariposa Ave and Wilshire Blvd. Visitor Parking is on levels P2, P4, and P5. Take the elevators up to floor P, and then take the elevator up to floor 14. Please check in with the security guard on floor P in order to be let up.

***Parking is $5*** for the night. When leaving, please take your ticket to floor LP on your way down to your car to pay for your ticket.

Troy Miles has fun writing code in various languages, libraries, and frameworks, including React, Flutter, and C# ASP.NET Core. He began programming over 40 years ago, writing games for the C64, Apple II, and IBM PCs. After burning out, Troy moved to systems programming and early phone programming in C++. With the introduction of modern mobile devices, he began programming iOS and Android using native SDKs and coding their backends using C# and other languages. In 2018, he added Flutter to his repertoire.

Troy is a published author and has created learning videos for several online vendors, most recently LinkedIn Learning. AWS Lambda is Amazon's Function as a Service offering. It enabled businesses of all sizes, from one-person shops to multi-billion dollar corporations, to build fast cloud services while saving money compared to running virtual machines.

AWS Lambda supports various languages, including C#, F#, and PowerShell. This talk will teach us how to create and deploy C# applications on AWS using the Serverless Framework. We will learn how to install the Serverless Framework, use it to deploy an app to AWS, and see how we can expand its capabilities. 

We will also look at how to debug serverless applications. And time permitting, take a look at how to optimize a serverless application's configuration to give us the best performance for the lowest price using AWS Lambda Power Tuning.
