Lake Hodges and Highland Valley Rd

This is my favorite shorter ride.

We're going clockwise on the map. We start at SD BMW with FULL TANKS OF GAS, head over to Solana Beach, through Rancho Santa Fe to Lake Hodges. We'll take a short socially distanced socializing break there then head to Highland Valley Road.

As far as the pace is concerned, here's a pace scale for reference:

0.5--Quite new to riding
1--Still relatively new to riding and am still getting comfortable riding twisties
2 - Not a newbie, but I like things on the slower side--chill. scenery, and speed limits
3 - Spirited rider-- I'm comfortable riding faster on the freeway and on twisties
4 - I might actually die today

My rides are about a 3. 2s will be fine on this ride, but anyone under a 2 will be quite challenged...

So you know what to expect, the first part is freeway riding. The next part (west of the 15) is not very technical. I'm definitely spirited on twisties, but I'll try to dial it down a bit. If I do get far ahead though know that I'll make sure to stop and wait for everyone. I have NEVER lost anyone before. Highland Valley Road is on the more technical side with a few hairpin turns, then it's the freeway again.
