The Birds and wildlife of Stearns Lake, donation walk , Friends of Coal Creek

If you are an eagle follower, you probably heard about the Stearns Lake Eagle's nest, and how it was struck by Lightning last summer. If you have not seen the video here is a link.

The Eagles have survived and at last report I believe they are working on a new nest. This particular pair of Eagles has been studied extensively and are well known culinary aficionados of Prairie dogs.
There are also other notable mid spring birds in the area. Here is a recent list of sightings that we will be looking for.
