Friends of Coal Creek Raptor Walk and Fund Raiser

Okay this is not our typical bird walk, but if you live along the coal creek water shed and use the trail for hiking, birding, biking, or just enjoy nature it is in your best interest to support this event.
I'll be there doing some master of ceremonies work, and will lead a short raptor walk along the creek near Flagg Park. Here is a description of the event, followed by a link with more details on how to sign up.
Note the BBQ event/fundraiser starts at 4:00. I'll b doing the raptor walk at 2:30pm ( at Flagg Park)
Come out to Parsons Farm along the creek in Lafayette for a family-friendly afternoon and evening with food, live music, games, cash bar, silent auction and fun to benefit Friends of Coal Creek.
Watch mini pumpkins race along the waterway, sidle up to our self-service seed bar or chat with a plant mixologist, listen to music together and celebrate as a community while we raise some funds to keep Friends of Coal Creeks' habitat-enhancing, nature-restoring, resilience-boosting work going.
So bring your family (no pets, please, there are farm animals) and join up with old friends and new ones for a day of fun at Parsons Farm, on the banks of Coal Creek!
