Ball Clay Studio Grand Opening

Hello everyone, I am opening an art studio and having a celebration. Although everyone is invited and welcome, the studio is on a large lot and there will be things going on outside, so you must RSVP here to enter the private area.

Here is the invitation:

Ball Clay Studio will be celebrating our Grand Opening Event on Saturday February 9, 2013 during the Nela Art Walk in Highland Park.

The Grand Opening will feature a Raku firing demonstration, pottery wheel demonstrations and other fun stuff.

Want to recreate the seen from the movie Ghost? I have the very same wheel from the movie, so bring your camera. Plus, I will have some clay out for anyone who feels like they want to get dirty.

Also on our lot, be sure to visit the five gourmet food trucks that will be here every month during the NELA Art Walk, @whiterabbitruk, @cornheaven, @TheLobosTruck @bellybombz @BeCoolCow find them on twitter.

The Studio is a two minute walk to the York Bar, Johnny's bar, La Hermosilla and a bunch of other galleries that will be opening their doors for the monthly NELA Art Walk, so the night does not have to end at my place. For more info on The NELA Art Walk visit and for Ball Clay Studio,

I look forward to seeing everyone.

I had a great time. This was a great mix of people and I was able to try out a pottery wheel for the first time. It was very generous of the host to invite us to try out the wheels, give us free wine, clay and tools so we could learn how to use the pottery wheel. Ball Clay studio is a really cool place. Thanks David for having this meetup.
