LaGrange Great Decisions welcomes critical thinkers of all backgrounds to participate in our weekly discussion group.
Pretty Good books will host Great Decisions, the largest non-partisan discussion group on world affairs, sponsored by Foreign Policy Association. The program model involves reading the Great Decisions briefing book and meeting in a discussion group to discuss the most critical global issues facing America today. The LaGrange kickoff meeting is set for Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 6 pm. The group will meet weekly each Thursday at 6 pm at Pretty Good Books for 9 weeks. Participants can pick up their briefing book at Pretty Good Books in advance or at the kickoff meeting.
Great Decisions has a mission to inform, engage, and inspire citizens. It seeks to serve as a catalyst for developing awareness, understanding, and informed opinion on U.S. foreign policy and global issues.
Volunteering to moderate the discussion is LaGrange resident, Heather Honerkamp who serves as Research Faculty at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
