About us
I am struggling to find groups for all the things I love to do, so I decided to create my own group. I love to plan events, so hopefully people will have some interest in them. I am a bit of an introvert, but I find I am able to overcome that when needed, so don't be afraid I can't converse with you, I can. I hate to see anyone left out. I love the uniqueness and variety of people. All ages and backgrounds of women are welcome. Only expectation is kindness.
I am just starting this so give me a little time to get it up and running.
A little about me...
Born and raised in Wisconsin
New to Lake Country
Lived in California and Colorado for a few years
Ride a BMW F650 motorcycle (it's an on/off road adventure bike)
Avid snowboarder
SUP enthusiast
I love to read
I am in my early 50's
I am married
I have an adult son
Christian
I took the 3-month Sierra program to be able to host overnight backpacking trips while in California.
I am a health coach and herbalist for fun.
I am a certified plant based chef for fun (I do eat meat).
I work from home.
I have a mini Goldendoodle who is my dear buddy. He is a trained service dog.
I am attempting to live a more minimalist lifestyle.
Types of activities I'm looking to plan (and open to suggestions)...
Hiking on nearby trails
Girls spa or retreat outings
Farmers market outings
Attending local events
Apple orchard outings
Wine tasting
Line dancing
Lake Geneva trips
Door County trips
Cooking classes
Eating out (definite foodie)
Lake outings (I just purchased a pontoon but but it needs some work before it is ready to go)
SUP outings
Book club meetings
Festival outings
...and more
I would like to have at least 3 people attending (including myself) or I will need to cancel the event, unless it is a public place event.
I will eventually need to ask for a very minimal monetary contribution to attend events to offset the cost to be a host on meetup. The cost right now is $44.99 per month to be a meetup host. Venmo, Paypal, or cash at the event. But for now, as we get this off and running, no charge. If the event itself costs money, you will need to, of course, pay for that.
Not all events will appeal to everyone, but I hope that doesn't discourage you from joining the ones that do.

This is off Maple Ave, just down from the Pewaukee boat launch on the northwest side of Pewaukee Lake. But please note that we need to cross Maple Ave to get to the trail from where we park and that road can be busy at times. Park in the first parking area to the left upon entry.
