Guided Nature Walk

Saturday, April 11, 2026

at Anderson Marsh State Historic Park

Join us for a guided nature walk at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 11. Come and see what spring is bringing to the park.

The April nature walk will be led by Roberta Lyons, a volunteer State Parks docent and President of the Anderson Marsh Interpretive Association.

The walk will begin at 8:30am and will last between 1-1/2 and two hours. The route taken on the walk will depend on the weather and the condition of the trails.

There is no charge for the guided nature walk and parking is free for those attending. No pets are permitted on the park trails which pass through a protected Natural Preserve.

Bring binoculars and meet in the parking lot at 8:15am for time to experience the early morning wildlife that can be found in the Ranch House picnic area.

Everyone is invited to take a walk in the park, learn about what this Lake County jewel has to offer, and experience the benefits of getting out into nature for some healthy exercise.
