Guided Nature Walk & Ranch House Tour

at Anderson Marsh State Historic Park
The next "Second Saturday" Guided Nature walk at Anderson Marsh State Historic Park will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
The Guided Walk will begin at 8:30am. Bring binoculars and meet in the parking lot at 8:15am for an opportunity to observe the birds and other wildlife found in the picnic area. Sturdy shoes, a hat and water are suggested.
The July guided walk will be led by State Parks volunteer docent and certified California Naturalist Henry Bornstein and will provide an opportunity to observe wildlife at the park and learn about their natural habitat, as well as to learn about the natural and cultural history of the area.
The walk will take between 1½ and 2 hours, depending on the route taken. Dogs are not allowed on the park trails.
A tour of the historic Anderson Ranch House will be available immediately after the conclusion of the walk.
There is no charge for the Nature Walk and Ranch House tour and parking is free for those attending.
