Hi, welcome to my group!
I've tried starting and restarting this group a few times. I've had brief stalling and issues due to some life stressors and distractions, but my "battering ram" approach of try, try again, suggests I'll break down the door very soon.
I am an independent Enneagram scholar who has studied and lived this spiritual device for nearly two decades now. I'm currently working on a book that focuses on its history and movement as a whole.
I'd like to try to develop a strong Enneagram group, where we can enjoy the following:
-Discuss your type with others and hear suggestions for growth
-Learn about how the types function and how to recognize them in others
-Understand how The Enneagram fits into a broader spiritual context
-Reasonably priced at $15/person for a two-hour workshop
-Intended as a passion project that could turn into a side hustle or professional gig
-I'm also available for individual coaching and lessons (reasonably priced)
-Socialize and connect with others in the Enneagram community
-Cover deeper and more esoteric Enneagram material not often referenced
-Borrow a book from my personal library, which includes unusual texts
I focus especially on the original, occult Enneagram, which Gurdjieff called "the oldest religion in the world" and said was sourced from Ancient Egypt. I am familiar with all later theory as well, but believe in simplifying this system to its essential and seminal roots is the surest path to higher states of consciousness and awakening.
I hope to see you at a meeting soon. Apologies for some inconsistencies and false starts so far. I literally ran into a bunch of hiccups right around when I was starting to design this thing, and had some setbacks I wasn't ready for. But I think that finally, eventually, I will be ready to go!
For anyone interested, my Enneagram type is 8 with a 7 wing, with a 4 heart fix and 5 head fix, Sexual subtype. I look forward to getting to know you all and diving into the Enneagram together
