In Eckankar, the Golden Contract is a simple but profound idea: every encounter, without exception, is there to move you forward on your spiritual journey. This includes relationships, challenges, joys, and even losses.
It suggests that life is not random — that we carry a deeper purpose into this world, and that the things that seem to happen to us actually happen for us.
You’re invited to a relaxed, open conversation as we explore ways of working with life rather than against it. This evening we will touch on:
- The idea of spiritual purpose and what we may have chosen before this life
- How karma (cause and effect) works as a learning tool rather than a burden
- Why gratitude may be the most practical and effective spiritual practice of all
We'll share a brief spiritual exercise singing HU, an ancient name for God, as a gentle way to open our hearts and quiet our minds to explore our Golden Contract with life.
