What we’re about
This group is open to all queer identities and orientations. Allies are welcome as well. However, every member of this group must remain respectful of other people's authenticity and truth.
Folks from the communities in and around Lake Powell, the Navajo Nation, Nothern Arizona, and Southern Utah are welcome and encouraged to join the group.
The primary goal of this group is to bring together the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in this area. The hope is that this will be achieved through promoting and organizing real-world events and activities. The idea is to create shared experiences in such a way that they are in service and support to each other as well as our communities.
A secondary goal of this group is information sharing. Whether it is information about affirming healthcare providers in the area, sharing the organization of a protest, or sharing an interest about a movie coming out with a queer theme, this is a safe place to find information that impacts or benefits our community.
Most of all, this is and will always be a safe place for people with queer identities. Bigotry, hate, disinformation, discrimination, racism, homophobia, transphobia, are NOT welcome nor tolerated here.
