Lakefront Trail

Biking the Chicago Lakefront is such a delight – seeing the skyline, enjoying lake breezes, passing through historic locations – during your trip from Montrose Harbor to 55th Street. Lots of parking available at the harbor near the Bait Shop.

We will start at 9:30, so come a little early to get bikes ready, then we will bike the Lake Shore Drive Bike Path south to 55th Street, veer off to Medici Restaurant at 1327 E 57th Street for lunch, then hop back on the bikes for our return. The distance is 14 miles each way and we should keep a pace of 10-12 mph. It will be lots of fun, so sign up right away!.
