Chain O'Lakes State Park, located in northeast Illinois in both McHenry and Lake counties, became a state park in 1945 when the State of Illinois made an initial purchase of 840 acres. In the 1930s, a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp became the Chain O'Lakes Conservation Area, and was incorporated into the state park in 1957.
The park features seven picnic areas and four trail systems. The park also contains 8 miles of equestrian trail.

my desire to participate in said activity Release Lake Villa Day Hiking Meetup 2.0 Group, its organizers, co organizers, event organizers, event hosts, and all its Affiliates from all and any physical injury or damages I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned activity including travel before, after, and during the said event and any and all injuries and damages even if caused by negligence of The Lake Villa Day Hiking Meetup 2.0 Group, its agents, organizers and any other leaders in anyway connected to this event.
I am Voluntarily Participating in the aforementioned activity and I am participating in the activity entirely at my own risk.
I agree my guests will be made aware of this Waiver and Release of Liability.
