Let's Hike: Nippersink

There are 3.2 miles of trails circling the lakes and adjoining woodlands. You'll cross a bridge and a boardwalk and pass by scenic overlooks along the way.
This 329 acre parcel was previously a seasonal retreat for camping and recreational vehicles, this preserve is now a year-round haven for people and wildlife. Century-old oak trees that rise above two scenic lakes, and woodlands, wetlands and marshes offer plentiful habitat for wildlife.
Dogs are allowed, but the usual rules apply.

The preserve trail joins the public sidewalk to the north across Nippersink Road offering access to surrounding communities.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY:

In consideration of the risk of injury that exists while participating in hiking and outing events and activities,
my desire to participate in said activity Release Lake Villa Day Hiking Meetup 2.0 Group, its organizers, co organizers, event organizers, event hosts, and all its Affiliates from all and any physical injury or damages I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned activity including travel before, after, and during the said event and any and all injuries and damages even if caused by negligence of The Lake Villa Day Hiking Meetup 2.0 Group, its agents, organizers and any other leaders in anyway connected to this event.

I am Voluntarily Participating in the aforementioned activity and I am participating in the activity entirely at my own risk.

I agree my guests will be made aware of this Waiver and Release of Liability.
