What we’re about
We are a church, but we're different. We feel church is about encouraging one another in our spiritual journey. Together we are learning and practicing what it means to be followers of Jesus. So, what does that look like? For us, first it means that no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here. That means we are going to welcome and affirm you no matter what you wear, the color of your skin, where you are from, or your sexual orientation. Next, we feel that a follower of Jesus loves God, loves others, and serves the world, and that is what we strive to practice. We don't have it all figured out, we don't always agree on how to best live it out, but we learn together, encouraging one another on our journey. If you are looking for a place to begin or continue your spiritual journey, we invite you to join us. You will find a warm welcome, food for thought, and encouragement for your life's journey.

See all- Together: A Support Group for Faith and Action1415 N K St, Lake Worth Beach, FL
We have begun a new weekly gathering on Wednesday evenings that we are calling Together: A Support Group for Practicing Faith and Action. Each week we will begin with a centering practice, engage a topic regarding spirituality, community, or justice, and commit to actions we can take to live in the reality that, as Jesus said, "the kin-dom of God is among us." Our next session, beginning June 18th and continuing for several weeks will be an interaction with The book Building Up a New World. We will meet at 6:30 PM, in person at 1415 North Kn ST in Lake Worth Beach and online here on Zoom.
Many of us may be feeling understandably despairing these days. The chaos machine is hard at work trying to distract and discourage us, making it hard to know where to turn or discern what to do. And it’s harder still to feel prepared and skilled in the ways we need to be to respond with loving compassion and justice-bringing passion. The good news is that every chapter in Building Up a New World: Congregational Organizing for Transformative Impact provides another tool in our organizing toolbelt, equipping us to do the work that is before us in this moment. From practicing mutual aid, to creating community safety and becoming sanctuary, there are so many openings for you and your community to begin or deepen your journey of doing justice, loving kindness and walking humbly with God.
We have a few copies of the book for folks to borrow or purchase. It can also be purchsed at the publisher, Pilgrim Press. You can purchase a Kindle addition on Amazon.
