Theatre Night: A Bunch of Amateurs at Trinity Theatre

Join us for a night of sharp comedy, big egos, backstage chaos and plenty of laughs at Trinity Theatre’s production of A Bunch of Amateurs.

Written by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman, this acclaimed comedy follows Jefferson Steele, a washed-up Hollywood action star who thinks he has landed the role of King Lear with the RSC. Instead, he arrives in England to discover he has joined The Stratford Players — a small amateur dramatics company fighting to save its local theatre.

Expect Hollywood vanity, village theatre spirit, witty one-liners and a warm celebration of community, creativity and not taking yourself too seriously.

Tickets: £15–£20

We’ll meet before the show in the foyer/bar so there’s time to say hello and grab a drink.

Please RSVP on Meetup, then book your own ticket directly through Trinity Theatre.
Looking forward to a fun evening of theatre and comedy!
