Shooting Range Day

Details
When: Thursday morning, 3/28, 845a - 11a.
Where: Tenoroc Public Use Area shooting range.
What: Handguns at 7 / 15 / 25 yards; Long-guns at 25 / 50 / 100 yards.
Why: Target practice and training with our firearms.
Who: Responsible gun owners. Safety is the utmost importance.
How: $12 + tax all day rate. Must have eye & ear protection, targets, ammo, firearms. Tenoroc does stock some supplies and ammo for sale, but less reliable for ammo than supplies, so come with ammo for sure.
Please memorize and commit to the four cardinal rules of gun ownership:
1. Treat all guns as if they are LOADED;
2. When you are ready to shoot, only then put your finger on the TRIGGER;
3. Only aim your gun at what you intend to DESTROY;
4. Know what is your target and what's beyond your TARGET.
5. Maintain control of your firearm at all times.
While at the Range, listen and obey the Range Safety Officer at all times.
Important Tenoroc shooting range rules when the range is HOT (shooting in progress):
1. Case/uncase your firearms on the shooting bench only, no exposed firearms in the seating area;
2. Only and always point the muzzle of the firearm downrange;
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot;
4. No rapid firing, two full seconds between each shot;
5. Clean up all your brass.
Important Tenoroc shooting range rules when the range is COLD (shooting not in progress):
1. Cease fire;
2. Unload and clear your firearm (remove magazine or empty cylinder, no chambered bullet, lock back your slide or open your revolver's cylinder);
3. Step back behind the orange safety line and do not cross back over for any reason;
4. Go downrange at service your target.
By joining and participating in this event, you agree to hold harmless the Organizers; and, you accept full responsibility for all your own actions.
Event will cancel upon inclement weather.
