Fish Again? La Pacena in San Antonio Tlayacapan

Yes we do know we just did a seafood place but we were at La Pacena the other night and had the most spectacular meal. The three of us shared two apps. One was tuna sashimi wrapped around crab meat in a vinaigrette. The other was stuffed tempura shrimp with several different spicy dipping sauces. They do lots of other stuff including great tacos and tostadas as well as specials like fresh halibut. Anyway we promise a great family style mail and good company as always. We promise we’ll do a meat restaurant next.

We have a couple of notes to add after our last outing. First, three people RSVPd and no show’d. That’s just rude. Next time it happens we’ll remove that person/persons from the group. We understand plans change but it’s so easy to just change your RSVP.

Second we had several requests to accommodate limited diets. We eat family style only in this group so we get to try lots of things. There’s lots of other opportunities to have exactly what you want but none others to share a large variety of carefully curated dishes in a relaxed, fun setting
