Coffee & Conversation: Talking Retirement @ Hello Coffee in Green Mountain

Whether you’re starting to think about retirement or already living it, this is a relaxed and informal one hour meetup to share experiences, ideas, and good conversation over coffee or tea. There’s no agenda, no age limits, just a friendly space to talk about the many sides of retirement planning and retirement, the fun parts, the challenges, and everything in between.

It’s a chance to get out of the house, meet new people, and chat about what retirement really looks like in today’s world. We’ll talk about whatever comes up, from travel and hobbies to finances, purpose, and more.

I’m James, a local fiduciary retirement planner here in Lakewood. After taking a mini-retirement to travel the United States & Eastern Canada with my wife and two kids for a year, I decided to start an independent fiduciary practice to keep me busy while my kids begin their schooling. I’ve always been fascinated by the concept of retirement, what it means to different people, and how everyone chooses to live it in their own way. Since I work alone, I'm always looking for ways to get out and talk with others.
