Meetup #3 - Elixir and Phoenix. Deployment and Architecture

Hello types,

The third Lambda PT (BR) meetup is around the corner and is lining up to be a great one, exclusively dedicated to the Beam Virtual Machine. Expect to hear about Elixir, Erlang, RabbitMQ and CouchDB.

We would like to thank Subvisual for their offer to host this third meetup. The venue will be at their Head Quarters in Braga.

About the two talks of the night:

Miguel Palhas, from Subvisual is going to tackle the problem of deploying an Elixir app and walk us through 3 different ways of getting an Elixir app online, from a one-click solution to a more customizable one. You might see some Docker at some point.

Emanuel Mota, from Yari Labs is going to present the architecture of an Elixir chat/data backend server that is running in production for mobile and web clients. Expect to hear about Phoenix and Elixir Umbrella applications, Protocols, Macros, RabbitMQ and CouchDB.
