We’re kicking off 2017 with a fun challenge using the AWS IoT Button (https://aws.amazon.com/iotbutton/). This little device sends click events over Wi-Fi to the AWS IoT service where a rules engine triggers actions. It’s probably the easiest way to build your first Internet of Things application. We have a dozen AWS IoT Buttons for the challenge. Each team will have one to build their Serverless .NET Core app. This is going to be a great event. Don’t miss out!
BRING YOUR LAPTOP!
This is a hands-on meetup suitable for advanced developers, passionate beginners, and curious minds! Each meeting is focused on exploring a specific technology by building a service with it. Participants are split into random teams of 3 to 4 to collaborate on a solution. We believe that team collaboration is the most fun way to make new discoveries, master new technologies, and make new friends!
Mentors are available to answer questions and guide each group to a solution. This is a great event to meet experienced engineers, build cutting edge services, and mingle with like-minded technologists who are passionate about serverless architecture!
