On Saturday, Nov. 7 from 2 pm to 4 pm, I invite you to join me at my studio on 278 N. Union St., Suite 108, Lambertville, NJ 08530. I am calling the gathering, “Collage and Community.” We can cut, crop, glue and chat! It’s open to everyone from teenagers to seniors. No art experience needed. It’s all about experimenting, playing, and connecting—not producing a masterpiece.
Come on your own or bring a friend. Either way, you'll be welcome.
Whatever happens in the midterm elections, I know I'll be looking for opportunities to connect with others, make something with my hands, and find some joy in being together. Maybe you will be looking for that, too?
What will we do? I have been working on an "altered" inspiration deck from playing cards. This is a project using a playing card, adding paint and collage, and highlighting a quote that inspires me. You can join me in that project, or make your own small collage project. Truly, it’s about experimentation.
Feel free to bring images, papers, or other materials you'd like to work with, but I'll have plenty of supplies available, too.
No set price. Pay what you can - a donation basket will be available.
This might become a regular gathering, depending on everyone’s interests.
