Coffee Klatch and Hike

Details
Hey there, sleepyheads! Since our Thursday monthly coffee Klatz was a blast, let's get this crazy train rolling again by joining us at the Lafayette Starbucks but this time begin our day on Saturday morning & then morph into hiking ninjas at the Lafayette reservoir, where you can hike for a breezy 30 minutes. Btw, please bring a sack lunch if you get hungry asking the way. Btw, please don't forget to pack a lunch or you'll be hangry on the way!
Got a burning question? Message me privately and I'll dish out the dirt on your super curious queries.
About The Lafayette Reservoir:
Are you ready for the ridiculously amazing story of The Lafayette Reservoir? Let me spill the beans - it's an incredibly cool, open-cut human-made terminal water storage reservoir owned and operated by the forward-thinking rockstars at the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD). Completed in 1933, it was initially designed as a backup water supply for EBMUD customers, but has since evolved into so much more. EBMUD opened the reservoir for public recreation in 1966. Conveniently located off of California State Route 24 and just a mile from the Lafayette BART station, in Contra Costa County, California, United States, this vibrant, day-use area offers endless opportunities for hiking, jogging, fishing, boating, and picnicking - a true gem for outdoor enthusiasts! The reservoir is situated on the Lafayette-Orinda border, symbolizing connection and community.
