♻️ PET Recycling Party: Transform Plastic Bottles into 3D Printer Filament

Details

Join Lamp Lab at North End Makerspace for a hands-on eco-friendly activity! Transform old plastic soda bottles into 3D printer filament with our recycling expert, Jeff, using several DIY pulltruders from old 3D printers. Learn the process from start to finish, ask questions, and enjoy a productive evening with like-minded individuals.

What to Bring:

  • Your clean and dry plastic soda bottles. Larger is better, and standard 2 Liter bottles are best.
  • A big smile and lots of enthusiasm!

Schedule:

  • Welcome & Intro - Meet Jeff and get a quick overview of what we’ll be doing.
  • Bottle Prep - Help us sort and prepare the bottles for recycling. It’s a team effort!
  • Recycling Magic - Watch and join in as we use the pulltruder to turn bottles into filament.
  • Hang Out - Stick around for some Q&A, chat with Jeff, and discuss future projects.

Come by, learn something new, help the environment, and have a fun, productive evening with the Lamp Lab. We can’t wait to see you there!
