11mls 1,100m ascent Hard Walk with possibly ‘some scrambling over rocks’.

A long mountain day
Leaving Wasdale NT Campsite Car Park we begin our very slow ascent from more or less 0m to 977m.
We’ll return via Sprinkling & Styhead Tarns, then onwards to Wasdale Head.
You need to be confident with heights, have good balance, be fit & not nursing any injuries or illnesses.
As it isnt a technical walk I can take a group of up to 15 regular walkers/members, no guests sorry. NO DOGS
(I’m doing a recce this winter so the route may have some slight changes)
Further details to follow but well need boots, weatherproof clothing, spare warm clothes, lots of liquids, food for a long day, I’d suggest 2x walking poles.
As we need to leave early & wont be back till late we need to book accomodation YHA, Campsite, Hotels.
Will check availability of YHA.
Cost is £15, initial non returnable deposit of £10 payable upon booking, remaining £5 to be paid by 1st April 2025 (Cancellation insurance was very expensive earlier in the year, so if I’m unable to attend for any reason I can only offer to return payments made to me)
