BUCKDEN to YOCKENTHWAITE Helen’s Farm 8.5mls 400m ascent

Details
A Beautiful Spring Early Summer Walk from BUCKDEN to Yockenthwaite Farm shown as the Home of Helen Alderson in the recent series of All Creatures Great and Small
Walking at a gentle easy pace (most climbing in first 1,000m, but we’re slow) there’s no rush on this walk with plenty of time for photographs (& I hope views?), but you may be on your feet for the best part of six hours.
Varied terrain so suggest that comfortable boots should be worn, dress for the weather, but bring walking trousers, jacket, spare fleece, hat & gloves, lunch, sunlotion, food & water to be carried in an ‘adequate rucksack’. Walking poles are useful for the walk.
Share cars if possible. Car park £4.80 last autumn.
Sorry, but only 3 well behaved dogs allowed on the walk 1pp. Must remain on a lead If bringing a dog please state in your RSVP.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
BUCKDEN IS A LONG WAY OFF so make sure you are able to get there, arent double booked, or have other commitments.
LATE CANCELLATIONS OFTEN BLOCK OTHERS CHANCES OF ATTENDING SO PLEASE, PLEASE DONT BE SELFISH
