A full days romp over moorland, wwodland and around reservoirs. Starting from Turton, we visit "Old Russia" reservoir before crossing Jumbles res to begin our ascent to Cheetham Close Trig point and look for an almost extinct stone circle. Weather permitting we will lunch on the moors on our descent to Entwistle reservoir, where familiar paths take up past The Strawbury Duck ( time allowing possibly a drink stop!) and then Wayoh reservoir on our way back to the cars.
Total Ascent 1050ft.
Dress for the weather, hats, waterproofs, sunscreen, spare layers!
Bring drinks and food
Non yappy dogs allowed. Max 3 per walk, and 1 dog pp
NB: this is a joint walk with NWWG. Please only book on one group. I will monitor numbers and adjust accordingly.
