Barbon, Casterton Fell and the Lune Valley (8.5 miles moderate walk)

Why not join tractor loving walk leader Ben as he ploughs his way through the delightful Barbon countryside.

We start off walking through beautiful Lune Valley fields and farmland before a gradual uphill to the top of Casterton Fell (438 metres). Fine views of the majestic surrounding scenery including remote Barbondale. Return for a drink in the oldie worldie Barbon Inn.

Meet at 10.30 outside the Church in Barbon (3 miles north of Kirkby Lonsdale). Various places to park on the street in the village. Sorry no dogs.
