Pleasington & Hoghton Bottoms (4.5-mile easy walk)

Details
This last of our evening walks for 2025 takes in Pleasington and Hoghton Bottoms, starting from outside the Butlers Arms. Having walked through Pleasington village, we’ll pass along the River Darwen and through the hamlet of Hoghton Bottoms on our loop back to Pleasington.
Well-behaved dogs welcome (but should be kept on a lead).
Please note that we restrict the number of places available to Meetup as, unlike other groups, we have a substantial number of Ramblers Members who also attend our walks and who are not required to book as attending the walk via this app.
The suggested donation for non-Ramblers members to £2 to cover meet-up costs. It is still excellent value for an organised walk, and day out with like-minded people. Or why not join us and be part of the Ramblers
- see attached link https:
//www.ramblers.org.uk/go-walking/group-finder/areas/mid-lancashire/groups/hike-on-lancashire.aspx . Once a member, discounts of up to 15% are also available at a number of outdoor shops including Cotswolds outdoors.
