A lovely scenic walk from the pretty village of Austwick to Stainforth Force through limestone scenery with great views of Ingleborough and Pen Y Ghent. Undulating with a couple of moderate climbs.
There are lots of stone step stiles on the walk. This alongside the potential for limestone to be slippy when wet means this walk requires walking boots. No trainers thanks.
On our return from Stainforth we will call at Elaine's cafe in Feizor for a drink and possibly a cake! Its then around 30 mins/ 1.5 miles walk back to Austwick.
Please met at the village cross in the very centre of Austwick. Austwick is located just off the A65 between Clapham and Settle. Parking is on the street. PLEASE PARK COURTEOUSLY AND LIFT SHARE WHEN POSSIBLE.
