Peel Tower and Holcombe Moor (9 mile moderate walk)

Circular walk up to Holcombe Moor and Peel Tower. Starting from the railway station in Ramsbottom, we follow the Irwell Sculpture Trail to Irwell Vale. We then climb up to Holcombe Moor and cross the tops to Peel Tower. We then descend towards Summerseat and rejoin the sculpture trail to return to Ramsbottom.
There is a steady ascent from Irwell Vale but maybe the odd short, steeper section. There is likely to be muddy sections so walking boots are advised.
