The Lancaster Bicycle Club is a recreational club for cyclists of all levels.
The Club carefully plans rides and related events such as bike-safety courses that result in self-confidence, physical fitness, and improved riding skills for cyclists. The Club also hosts numerous social events and supports bicycle-related initiatives through its grant program. The Club has awarded over $530,000 in grants since 1999.
Whether you are an experienced rider or new to bike riding, you can find a variety of suitable rides here on Lancaster Bicycle Club’s Meetup site. Rides are held year round.

IMPROMPTU LV - Sticky Bun ride (28R)

That while the ths ride starts at Landis Valley Farm Museum at 9:45, those wishing for extra miles can begin at 9am at the Lititz Library…For the people riding to/from Lititz Library, they will have 38 miles total. The route includes a stop at Bird in Hand Bake Shop for some delicious sticky buns. The pace will be 14 - 16 mph average. Multiple regroup points (like 4 or 5).
This ride is a social ride, but cyclists are not expected to stay in one group. Cyclists may pedal at their own comfortable paces. Please be supportive of the other cyclists to avoid anyone biking alone or being dropped off the back of the last group.

Ride Sweep: openCoffeeTue rides:
• A rotating start location, not a school
• A predetermined route
• 25+/- mile routes
• 12 to 14 and 14 to 16 mph average pace
• Usually no sweep
• “short” stop for refreshment/coffee mid-route at Molly's Courtyard CafeLike an All Class Ride, CoffeeTue does not have a single pace.
There will be multiple regroup points during the ride.

Anticipated Average Pace: (16-18 mph)
Route: https://routes.lancasterbikeclub.net/cue/lc-butter-side-down-23r/This is an Advanced B ride. We will be keeping a B+ pace for this ride. The ride leader will ride at the advertised average speed or the pace of the group. This is intended to be a group ride with a no-drop rule as the main goal. The ride leader will do his/her best to keep the group together with occasional regroupings.
Please do not join this ride if you are not willing to ride with the group. If you exceed the posted pace, you will be riding by yourself and encouraged to join a faster group. If maintaining a 16-18 mph average is beyond your current ability level, please consider joining a slower ride first.
