NOTE: FIRST AND LAST NAME ARE REQUIRED to join this Meetup group. Join requests will not be approved if first and last name is not provided.
The Lancaster Bicycle Club is a road-based recreational club for cyclists of all levels.
The Club carefully plans rides and related events such as bike-safety courses that result in self-confidence, physical fitness, and improved riding skills for cyclists. The Club also hosts numerous social events and supports bicycle-related initiatives through its grant program. The Club has awarded over $530,000 in grants since 1999.
Whether you are an experienced rider or new to bike riding, you can find a variety of suitable rides here on Lancaster Bicycle Club’s Meetup site. Rides are held year round.

A spirited club ride leaving every Thursday. The route is the same each week.
Due to the race-like style of this ride, including pacelining at high speeds, the use of E-bikes is not recommended.

The route is the same each week.For the experienced group rider in good physical condition and capable of maintaining a steady pace. Few stops if any. Riders unable to maintain classified pace may be dropped. If unsure if this ride is for you, it is recommended you try the "A" ride option first, which leaves from the same location a few minutes later.

RIDE SWEEP: Jon HartungFUN Rides: Distance less than 25 miles, ride leader average pace about 11 mph or less, group will wait for all cyclists. Frequent rest stops. Good pace for beginners and families. Try a Fun Ride if you're not sure of your ability.

Ride leader average pace 13-14 mph.
Cue and Ride with GPS link: Cabin Fever(Usually) no sweep. Some riders may ride faster or slower than the leader although please consider staying with the leader and/or another rider(s) so everyone has someone to ride with and for the good of the group.
Terre Hill Park has well maintained restrooms that are usually open. There is also a well-stocked bike repair station at the park.
