~2.0 mile blue loop.
IMPORTANT: There are a maximum of 5 parking spaces at the preserve so we will park and meet at 1:00 the far rear of the parking lot at the K-Ville Hotel & Tavern in Kleinfeltersville and then carpool about 8 miles to the preserve with a maximum of 5 vehicles. After the hike we will return to the K-Ville for food/beverage. The K-Ville will open at 3:00 for us.

I'm scheduling this early in the season because this location will not be accessible after there is any snow and ice on the ground on the access road.
Archery hunting is allowed at Texter Mountain Nature Preserve, but only in designated areas, so be sure to wear blaze orange or some other high viz clothing.
There are no toilet facilities at the preserve.
Please bring your own water and energy snack and first aid kit. I always suggest bringing hiking poles, especially this time of year, so you'll have them if you need them.
